Opened the first boutique of the Dachshund in France. It represents the first stage of a plan to launch the Dachshund brand «beyond of the Alps».
The of 400 m2 boutique spread out on two floors is located at 35 Boulevard des Capucines, four shop windows on one of the main shopping streets in Paris, between Place de la Madeleine and the Opera, at the intersection with Rue Scribe and will feature the Men’s, Women’s and Junior’s collections of the Italian brand.
The opening of the new boutique is an occasion to unveil the new image of the stores that will accompany the retail development of the “Dachshund” over the next few years, designed by architects Losanno and Perini of the Florentine PLS design studio.
The setting is inspired by the bright and sunny world of the Mediterranean coast that blends with elements of ‘60s Italian design reinterpreted with a modern slant. The light and shades of azure and blue are given warmth by the sand-coloured sandstone paving, oak and the ecru fabric of the display furniture. A decor of 33,000 white and blue hemispherical cards, embedded like a mosaic in the vertical walls of the entrance and the columns, pays tribute to the tradition of Mediterranean pottery making and the great Italian architect Giò Ponti, from which it was inspired.
